Neuroinclusive Selection: Enabling People to be their Best Selves in Interviews
Aim: to share best practice in optimising accessibility to online interviews for the neurodivergent community. Background: 1 in 7 of us are neurodivergent with many 1000's undiagnosed. 40% of neurodivergent people are unemployed. This not just an inequity issue but the business case for diversity hiring is unequivocal with diverse teams outperforming non-diverse teams by >35%.
Method: We did not make assumption about what might enable neurodivergent applicants, we collected data from 250 volunteers who tested our online interview platform.
Results: we will share optimisations we have co-designed and built into our platform. Conclusions: we can save 50% time, and enable neurodivergent applicants to be their best selves at interview
