I am from the UK, but when I moved back here after living abroad for over a decade, I had no clue how to secure a job in my target industry. After almost a year of incessantly refining my CV, cover letter and interviewing techniques, I landed a job in one of the most competitive industries in the country.
Since then, but really for the last 8 years, even though I worked full-time in Finance for the majority of that time, I have supported hundreds of candidates in their job search and placement process. I have personally helped place candidates in companies such as McKinsey, BlackRock, CGI, Goldman Sachs, Citi and other tech, finance, hospitality and professional service firms.
Now, I have pivoted to explicitly serving recruitment firms. My experience in analysing the recruitment industry from an investment perspective, coupled with my understanding of the candidate story and process, positions me as the prime resource for recruitment firms to improve their candidate placement rates, train their recruiters to do the same, and grow their firm through strategic, financial, and operational improvements.
