With a background in theatre, film and publishing, Tim started his executive search career in the media and creative space for the Oxbridge Group, identifying and hiring for TV, publishing, PR and advertising firms across Europe.
He set up ALC in 2001, to focus on advisory and headhunting services for the recruitment industry. By 2017, ALC Enable evolved to the largest business servicing the executive search industry globally, and the only company in the world to offer a completely one stop opportunity for executive search and leadership firms to learn how to improve and develop their companies, differentiating themselves from their competitors and focusing on an end goal or exit.
Tim feels passionately about improving the executive search industry as well the contingency recruitment industry and to this end is looking to set up a not for profit association for the search industry in 2019.
Tim has set up several businesses, both unrelated to recruitment and recruitment specific, including Three:78 which is a personality profiling assessment business specifically for the recruitment industry. In conjunction with APSCo they are looking to build the profile of what the perfect recruiter looks like from profiling 100s of recruiters across the industry.
