Started as a nurse and midwife in the NHS, then moved into recruitment. Worked within the initial wave of social care outsourcing and the creation of the CQC and a more compliant environment. Worked as MD for Nestor Healthcare and led a demerger and IPO to AIM for a healthcare recruitment company. Joined Hays as Healthcare MD then worked in consultancy until creating sjb medical which I then sold to Manpower. Formed Gaia Recruitment as a values led recruitment firm in Permanent Healthcare.
