Sam Cox is the Commercial Director of Qdos and a senior leader with nearly 20 years of experience spanning insurance, tax, and risk management. Starting his career at Qdos in client account management, Sam has progressed through roles in tax consultancy, underwriting, and broking, giving him deep commercial and technical insight. Appointed Commercial Director in 2015, Sam has played a central role in developing Qdos' award-winning insurance solutions for independent workers, umbrella companies, and the recruitment agencies that support them. He leads commercial strategy, client partnerships, and technical product development, and is a Chartered member of the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII). Sam works closely with recruitment businesses and umbrella companies to manage risk around insurance, contract compliance, and IR35 exposure. His expertise and pragmatic approach make him a trusted partner to clients and a recognised voice on workforce compliance, umbrella insurance, and risk mitigation in the contractor supply chain.
